Dorothy DALTON (1893 ? 1894 ? / 1972)

Après avoir été remarquée sur scène, Dorothy Dalton (née à Chicago, États-Unis) débute à l'écran en 1914.
  Le célèbre producteur et réalisateur Thomas H.Ince la prend bientôt sous son aile et elle ne tarde pas à devenir une star.

Durant plusieurs année, elle connaît un succès constant grâce à des films comme «The Vagabond Prince» (1916), «A Gamble in Souls» (1916), «The Flame of the Yukon» (1917), «The Kaiser's Shadow» (1918), «The Mating of Marcella» (1918), «The Market of Souls» (1919), «A Romantic Adventuress» (1920), «Guilty of Love» (1920), «Fool's Paradise» (1921), «Moran of the Lady Letty» (1922), «The Siren Call» (1922), «Dark Secrets» (1923), «The Moral Sinner» (1924), …

En 1924, elle épouse Arthur Hammerstein, un producteur de Broadway, et se retire.
